Our Client Support Services encompass a combination of Helpdesk and On-Site Support plus Proactive Maintenance and Monitoring.
Our Helpdesk provides phone support for a variety of applications such as MS Office, Outlook/Entourage and Internet Explorer on PCs and Macintoshes. The Helpdesk is staffed in our mid-town office during standard business hours with on-call staff available after hours.
Our clients usually grant us remote access so that if we can’t step our client through a problem resolution, we can remotely connect to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. This reduces the resolution time and saves money for our clients.
If the issue requires On-Site Support, MISI will dispatch a technician to the client. Based on the severity of the problem and distance from our mid-town office, response times are generally 30 min to 2 hours.
Stability and reliability of a network can be greatly improved through Preventative Maintenance and Monitoring. We remotely monitor our clients’ network and servers for critical system parameters and are automatically notified of certain types.
How to Get Services
The Systems Integration Division provides IT support services through 2 types of contracts: Monthly and Hour Pack Contracts.
Monthly contracts are billed at a flat monthly fee based on our clients’ needs and provide for a fixed minimum and maximum number of hours per month. The advantage is that our clients are ensured a minimum support level for break/fix and preventative maintenance while keeping their monthly support costs fixed.
Hour Pack contracts enable our clients to purchase a block of hours to be used on as needed basis or for preventative maintenance. The advantage is that our clients can lock in a lower bill rate vs. standard T&M rates.
Project Services
In addition to day-to-day support of your IT environment, MISI provides Project Services for the following situations:
· Deployment of significant quantities of new hardware and/or software
· Major hardware or application upgrades
In these cases, MISI will manage the entire IT project from initial goals to design and installation.
