Description:
A well established and successful consulting company in Chicago is looking for a Consultant who will play a key role in further building out the BI strategy and business performance management capability of the consulting practice. This individual will help clients maximize the improvements in business performance that result from major enterprise initiatives. Help clients generate significant business results from the use of business intelligence, data warehousing, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning and ecommerce. Will assist with business development and leading the delivery of engagements. This is a great company and very exciting opportunity! The focus is on Midwest engagements, but will participate in business development and delivery across all regions, so probably more travel in the early stages of the position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10 years of experience with a focus on addressing the business aspects of enterprise applications (i.e., CRM, ERP, finance, BI).
- Ability to determine the business value of major technology initiatives and develop phased plans for improving processes, organization, skills, and technology to meet business objectives.
- Conversant in primary technical aspects of business intelligence and ability to quickly learn the important aspects of new technologies.
- Strong collaboration and session facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with IT managers and senior architects to determine how business needs can be addressed with technical solutions.
- Very strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills as well as confidence and presence with IT and business executives.
- Solid time management, people management and project management skills.
- Very high personal standards for the quality of delivery.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, insurance and/or financial services industries
- MBA is preferred
- Experience selling and delivering management consulting services
