Description:
Seeking a Quality Assurance Test Automation Specialist with 5-7 years of QA test automation experience in software development who will develop, implement, and execute test scripts, and analyze and report on test results for a large scale web application. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional intelligence, outstanding communications skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements:
This position is required to attend a customer training program in New York.

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited institution
• Experience with Insurance industry practices; and an in depth knowledge of various system components within an insurance application (preferred)
• Complete software development life cycle understanding
• Coordinate test and implementation activities
• Completion of end to end Functional and Performance test activities for several major releases of software application(s)
• Extensive experience with black-box & white-box testing
• Familiar with scripting using a variety of automation tools
• Extensive experience using Mercury QuickTest Professional** and Mercury TestDirector
• Programming Languages such as .NET, XML, Visual Basic, C# desired
• Java script and SQL essential
• Experience architecting, maintaining and implementing Test Plans for large scale software application(s)
• Experience testing large scale web applications
• Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of thoroughly understanding and replicating a business process
• Testing experience in enterprise applications using Microsoft tools
