Description:
- Tier 1 Network Operations Center Engineer
- To Provide Customer Network Maintenance Support & Layer 3 IP Troubleshooting
Requirements:
This position is required to attend a customer training program in New York.
- Bilingual English/Japanese a plus
- CURRENT and VALID CCNA, CCNP or CCIP certification are a plus
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
- Familiarity with OSPF/ISIS, BGp, MP-BGP
- Widows/Linux /Unix Server maintenance
- Knowledge of hardware (Routers, CSU/DSU, bridges, multiplexers, servers and switches configuration)
- Knowledge of MPLS Networks
- Knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
- Flexible hours of operation
- Strong writing, and communications skills
- Strong customer communications skills
- nowledge of Cisco 2600,3600,3700, 7500
- Knowledge in using Cisco IOS commands to troubleshoot router
- Knowledge of IPSec gateways
- Demonstrates strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Some Domestic Travel Required
- Proficient in the use of HP Open View SNMP alert systems
- Experience using change management and trouble ticket systems
