Description:
Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited to: Reporting to one of the Senior Architects/Managers within Enterprise Architecture (EA) Solution Services, the Architecture Analyst works on strategic programs/projects across multiple business areas as a design analyst. This project focused work consists of analyzing business and systems requirements and then developing the corresponding solutions architecture designs with delivery of relevant application, information, and technology architecture models using EA tools and practices. The incumbent will perform their work in support of the company_s divisions and regions and in alignment with the IT and EA strategic visions. The successful candidate will use their engagement experiences to provide input for continual improvement of the practice of enterprise architecture, driving changes to the EA framework, methods, and tools. Primary Activities Primary activities include, but are not limited to: As part of the requirements analysis and design activities on SLC-based programs/projects: " Analysis of business and systems requirements to identify/define solutions components such as applications, application interfaces, digital services, technology architectures, and their inter-relationships " Identification of reusuable services/components based on the Company_s Enterprise Reference Architecture " Modeling of these components in the EA integrated toolset " Delivery of conceptual and logical information, technology, and applications models to visualize this information to drive detailed design and implementation planning " Maintenance of models as required as a result of feedback from detailed design and construction activities. Skills " Bachelors degree in information systems, computer science, or related study or equivalent experience. " 3+ years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a multi-tier environment, including but not limited to, Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, Technical Architecture, Systems Analysis or Systems Design. " Experience in either the requirements analysis or design phase of two or more IT projects. " Knowledge of application architecture, technical architecture, data integration, distributed processing. " Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and the ability to influence others. " Strong decision-making and communications skills. " Experience with application design and/or modeling tools.
