Description: Our client, a top tier financial company, is looking for a Technical Writer with 4-6 years experience to document their complex MIS systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand and document the engineering design and business logic in a format that is very detailed and simple for business users to understand. The Technical Writer will be working with the Technical Team and Project Manager to understand the business logic. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with building and supporting large scale MIS applications in an investment bank would be a plus.
Requirements:
Must be familiar with SQL and rdbms (sybase preferred)
Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica would be a plus but not required.
Must have general understanding of the financial market.
Experience with capital markets or investment banking would be a plus.
