Description:
Our client's Market Risk Group is in need of a Technical Analyst to carry out the reconciliation activities with the company's Finance Group. Tasks include reconciliation of Market Risk data for various equities and fixed income products with the data that is coming to the Finance Group. The Technical Analyst will also coordinate with Risk Managers, Product Controllers, and other groups. Candidate must have 4-6 years experience in SYBASE SQL, Stored Procedures, BCP, UNIX shell scripts, and must be very comfortable in working with SYBASE relational database. The job is located in Jersey City, NJ for a period of 6 months.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of financial instruments
- Strong analytical background
- 4 years of solid experience in SYBASE SQL, Stored Procedures, BCP and UNIX shell scripts
- Must be very comfortable in working with SYBASE relational database
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel is desired
