Description: Our client is looking for a Novell Netware System Administrator in their Long Island office. The Netware System Administrator will be responsible for setting up and managing 47 servers and 200 printers. He or she will also serve as a 2nd level support for regional System Administrators. On occasion, upgrading regional servers will be required. This person will also be involved in the migration from Netware OES to Linux OES. Candidate must have experience with Netware 6.5, OES, Clustering, and Linux OES.
This is a long term consulting position located in Long Island.
Requirements:
Netware 6.5
Netware OES (open enterprise server)
Netware clustering (3 node and 2 node)
Some Linux OES (open enterprise server)
Experience working in a large environment, handling a sizable number of users.
