Description: Our client, a prominent financial institution, is in the process of acquiring the new Debt Management System (DMS). This software will store comprehensive and reliable information on debt obligations and make it available to TFA users, bond counsels, financial advisors, and investment banks. They are in need of a DMS Business Analyst to help with the responsibilities of this new system. Some of these responsibilities include:
- Assessment of Implementation Status list of deployed sites, users, points of contact
- Management of communication with end users
- Execute user interviews to determine known or existing issues with current deployment of DMS
- Definition of user roles within the DMS application
- Support technical staff in assessment of DMS application by providing subject matter expertise and documentation of feature set of current application (where not available from vendor).
- Management of Issue tracking documentation (reporting and driving issue list items to closure)
This position is for approximately 6 months (35 hours a week), and is located in New York, NY.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience at a financial (or government) institution with fixed income instruments (preferably municipal bonds)
- Must have strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, MS Access, Word) and be able to author and package design deliverables
- Must have experience in writing and executing ad-hoc reports from a 3rd party tool (e.g., Crystal, Cognos)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate meeting discussions, broker issue resolutions, and articulate decision points
- Strong oral and written communication skills as necessary for the authoring of key deliverables and interaction with senior management
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Management Information Systems required
