Description:
Primary work activities include applied usability work (running usability tests, Expert/Heuristic Design Reviews, consultation to other groups/teams.) Planning and determining the proper testing strategy for an engagement. Lead UX study and design teams in performing primary research tasks, such as usability testing, interviews, and design exercises. Develop, design, and document requirements for web applications, portals, and transactional websites. Mentor junior analysts and participate in developing their skill sets further. Will participate in the creation of site maps, wireframes, workflow diagrams, controlled vocabularies, labeling systems, nomenclature schemes, taxonomies and navigation structures. Keep abreast of best practices for usability techniques and methodologies. Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 2-3 years of UX research analysis and design experience in a consulting environment.
- Must have experience in financial services, insurance, or pharmaceutical industries.
- BS/BA in psychology, human computer interaction, design or related fields strongly preferred; MA in like fields is highly desirable. Must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and Visio.
- Must have strong design and communication skills, along with a past history of client management.
- Some travel will be required.
